Test for Academic Studies
TestAS is a standardized scholastic aptitude test for international students helping them improve their chances of being admitted for undergraduate studies at German universities.
Sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, TestAS is supported by DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), conceptualized and developed by ITB Consulting, Bonn, and TestDaF Institute, Bochum.
TestAS is consist of 3 modules and starts with an online language test (on-Screen in English or German) followed by the Core Test which measures abilities required for successful studies in all subject areas. The 3rd and final module assesses the candidate’s ability to cope with typical requirements of specific courses of study. International applicants can take the TestAS twice a year.
